Dark Cargo Pants
First of all I just need to make it clear that I am not trying to be some kind of evil black cargo pants fashion dictator that screams out orders from the palace balcony to all the peasants down below.
No, I’m not taking it that seriously and neither should you! I am just here to give a few tips and tricks on wearing black pants and you can either take it or leave it. The choice is yours in the end and I won’t be held responsible for any fashion nightmares you have to endure because of it.
OK then, enough of the disclaimers, now it is time to get in to the do’s and don’ts of wearing black pants. Lets start with choosing which style will work best with different body types, shall we?
Quick Tip:
“If you don’t like the body that you have, do some thing about it. I hear tons of ladies out there complaining, but not many of them actually trying to change.”
Make Curves Work For You
For a start, lets just say you’re a woman with a rather generously proportioned backside; what can you do to make those curves work for you instead of against you? Two words: flare-leg. Or is that technically only one word?
Either way, a good pair of flare-leg black cargo pants can do a lot to balance out your backside and allow you to look good in black. Another option is to find some pants with a high waist, which will also have a similar effect that creates a more balanced look.
Show Off What You Got
Now for all of the skinny women out there, with a butt that could make even a gay man take a second look, what type of black pants should you wear to make the most of it? Well you’re one of the lucky few who can wear just about anything and get away with it, congratulations!
I would recommend black cargo pants, but that’s just a suggestion out of all the options you have. You can basically just take what I said about a larger body type and reverse it.
Really Turn Up The Heat
By that I mean choosing a low waist, instead of a high waist, and go for something tighter with no flares to accentuate your lovely legs and mind-boggling butt! It goes without saying, that wearing black dress pants would be a waste of some eye candy for you girls! Then again, you can always fashion a pair of dark cargo pants for that like I said before.
Finally, which colors look the best when matched with those black cargo pants you just picked out? As with everything else I’ve said, it is all just a matter of opinion but personally I think almost any color looks good with black.
Classic & Sexy
White or a light shade of blue are both classic choices, but like I said you can pretty much wear whatever you want with black pants. Black on black is a bit too much for me but some people can pull it off, so don’t be afraid to experiment a little.
The fact of the matter is that dark cargo pants allow you to show some leg skin, so you should consider that skin color of yours as a second color that you should match with your choice of a top. Having said that, once again, black is an easy going color that matches with almost all the rest!
You might as well fashion a pair of black yoga pants with a red top and you’ll look smoking! Oh, just a little clarification here, I am only referring to women. For all the men out there, I would suggest that you stick with your mens dress pants and let us women go crazy!
