Different types of clothes work for different occasions, with the exception of black pants that practically go with everything, but we will get to that later. Each type of occasion will have its own set of clothes that you can wear or you should wear to it.
Even though occasions determine what you should wear, it doesn’t mean you can’t wear that same outfit at other instances throughout your everyday.
Some types of clothes only work at specific occasions, while others work overall with everything. Again, I am thinking about dark pants, but they are not the only piece of clothing that has that ability!

Match The Occasion
For example, you may wear jeans while outside to shop at a mall, but you wouldn’t wear those jeans to an important formal business meeting. Then again, there are some clothes that would work for both and this is where I get to my point.
For example, black pants will work either when you are out shopping with your girlfriend, or if you are planning to go to a wedding even if you happen to be the best man for your best friend. Better yet, there are also some beautiful women’s pants that are black for your girlfriend to wear so that you can make a cute couple!

Do you want to take it a step further? Why not wear a pair of black cargo pants next to your hubby next time you are at the mall. They are comfy, stylish, and they will match whatever he is wearing!
This is why dark pants are favored by everyone. Another similar example is that of a white shirt. You can basically wear a white shirt anywhere you go. Well, maybe not at a wet t-shirt contest because white shirts become see-through when wet.
Very Versatile
Then again, black pants can be worn just about everywhere. They look trendy and they are also formal. Everybody needs at least a pair of black dress pants since everyone will attend some kind of special occasion or an important meeting in their lives and it is strongly advised to wear dark pants at such events.
You wouldn’t want to give the wrong impression by wearing jeans to a business meeting, right? Keep it safe with a pair of black dress pants which is very suitable for something like this.

When going to a baseball game, you might want to wear your favorite baseball team’s sweater and pants, but if you don’t have them you can just simply wear your men’s dark pants there too. At other times, like when you are going out with your friends, any type of clothing will work. It really doesn’t matter what you wear if you are just going to just hang around.
It is, however, important to make sure what you wear is appropriate for that occasion. If you don’t know what to wear for that occasion you can ask a friend or look it up online.
There are many resources that will tell you want to wear, and at the end of the day, if you still haven’t made a decision, simply wear a plain shirt and black pants. Those two combined will work just about anywhere. Enough chit chat – time to go shopping!
